The month tabs on every page open any month, the Index opens the year, goals, quarters, collections and budget pages, each month page opens its days and its weeks, and day, week and month pages have previous and next arrows; day and week pages also link back to their week and month. The pages are black and white, with crisp lines and no heavy fills, in the 3:4 shape of the reMarkable Paper Pro, reMarkable 2 and Paper Pure screens, and in a narrower 9:16 shape, with the tabs at the foot, for the Paper Pro Move.

Unzip the download on a computer or phone and open the START-HERE guide. It shows which planner file fits your tablet and which tab side to choose.
In the reMarkable desktop app, click Import or drag the PDF into the window; in the web app at my.remarkable.com, drag the file into your list; on a phone, open the PDF, tap Share, then Import with reMarkable.
Open the planner on the tablet and tap Start at the Index on the cover. From there, tap a month, then a date.
