▶Close your phone and see one number: what is left to spend until payday. Open it and see every paycheck, every bill and every savings goal.
Which paycheck pays the rent, and how much is left to spend until the next one?
Which paycheck pays the rent, and how much is left to spend until the next one?
Paycheck Budget plans your money one paycheck at a time, with one rule: each bill is paid from the last paycheck before it is due, so you never sort anything. In the worked example, $1,860 lands every other Friday and rent of $1,295 is due on the 1st. The cover screen reads $930 left to spend with 8 days to payday, about $116 a day. Open the phone and the Checks page lines up every paycheck: the October 30 check comes up $84 short because it has to cover November rent and the car payment, so the app suggests paying the car payment early from the October 16 check, which has $1,201 of room. One tap, and October 30 has $305 left, three weeks before the problem would have happened.
Close the phone and the cover screen shows what is left to spend until payday, the days to go and a safe daily amount. In the example: $930 left, 8 days to payday, about $116 a day.
Enter your pay and your bills once. Each bill is paid from the last paycheck before it is due, and the bill calendar marks your paydays so you can see what each check covers.
A check that comes up short is flagged weeks ahead, with a one-tap fix that pays a bill early from a roomier check.
On a big foldable inner screen the app shows your paycheck and the plan side by side. Fold or unfold any time; nothing reloads. Any other phone, tablet or computer gets the same app, sized to its screen.
No account, no bank login and no subscription. Your numbers are saved only on your device, the app works in airplane mode, and a backup file is one tap away.
Open START-HERE.pdf and tap your private install link. In Safari, tap the Page Menu button (the three dots), then Share, then View More, then Add to Home Screen. Leave Open as Web App on and tap Add.
Pick how often you are paid, enter a recent payday and your usual take-home pay, then add each bill with its amount and due date.
Close the phone to see what is left to spend until payday. Log spending in two taps and the number updates right away.
Unfold to see every paycheck and the plan. Fix a short paycheck with one tap, and save a backup file once a month.
Most budget apps want a bank login and a monthly fee, and most budget spreadsheets are awkward on a phone. This one is a web app you keep: no subscription, no account, nothing linked, and it works offline. It is laid out for two screens: closed, one number you can trust; open, two pages side by side. And it plans by paycheck, not by month, so each bill is matched to the check that pays it and a short paycheck shows up weeks before it happens. The Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheet comes with it for the days you would rather plan on a computer.
As soon as your order is complete you can download the ZIP. Open START-HERE.pdf, tap your private install link or scan the QR code, and add the app to your Home Screen from Safari in about a minute. This is a web app that installs from Safari; it is not an App Store app. The free video walkthrough shows every step, and nothing ships.
Runs in Safari on iPhone Duo (iOS 27.1), tested in Apple's iPhone Duo simulator. Also runs on other iPhone models, iPad, Android phones in Chrome and computer browsers (Chrome, Edge and Safari). It works offline after the first open. The spreadsheet opens in Excel or Google Sheets. No account, no bank login and no subscription.
No. It is a web app that installs from Safari with Add to Home Screen, then opens from your Home Screen like any other app. There is nothing to download from an app store.
No. A big foldable inner screen gets the two-page layout, and any other iPhone, Android phone, iPad or computer gets the same app, sized to its screen. The Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheet is included too.
No. You type your pay, bills and spending. There is no account, no bank login and no cloud sync.
Only on your device, in the web app's storage. We never receive it. Deleting the web app or clearing Safari website data erases your entries, so save a backup file now and then; the same file moves your budget to a new phone.
Pick weekly, every two weeks, twice a month or monthly in Settings. Weekend paydays can move to the Friday before.
Yes. The app updates itself when we improve it, and your entries stay on your device.
