When will you be debt-free, and what happens if you find $200 more a month?
When will you be debt-free, and what happens if you find $200 more a month?
Debt Payoff Planner gives every debt its minimum and sends every extra dollar to one focus debt. In the worked example, four debts add up to $16,490 and the monthly budget is $900: a $640 store card, a $1,180 medical bill, a $4,820 Visa and a $9,850 car loan. Snowball, smallest balance first, clears the store card in November and the medical bill in January, and the car loan is paid off in June 2028. Avalanche, highest rate first, reaches the same finish date here with about $200 less interest. The cover screen reads June 2028 with 21 payments to go and shows the next payment: $420 to the store card. Drag the what-if slider to $200 more a month and debt-free moves up to February 2028.
Close the phone and the cover screen shows your debt-free date, the percent paid off and your next payment: which debt, how much and when.
Switch methods in a tap and compare the finish dates and the interest. Pick the one you will stick with, or set your own order.
Drag the slider to add $100 or $200 a month and watch the date move. In the example, $200 more moves debt-free from June 2028 to February 2028.
Every $100 you pay off earns one square to color in with your finger or a stylus, and every paid-off debt and milestone gets its own date.
No account, no bank login and no subscription. Your numbers are saved only on your device, the app works in airplane mode, and a backup file is one tap away.
Open START-HERE.pdf and tap your private install link. In Safari, tap the Page Menu button (the three dots), then Share, then View More, then Add to Home Screen. Leave Open as Web App on and tap Add.
Enter each debt with its balance, rate and minimum payment, then set the total you can pay each month.
Choose snowball, avalanche or your own order and read the date for every debt and for the whole plan.
Log each payment in two taps, check your date on the cover screen, color in your squares and save a backup file once a month.
Most debt payoff apps want a bank login and a monthly fee, and most debt spreadsheets are awkward on a phone. This one is a web app you keep: no subscription, no account, nothing linked, and it works offline. It is laid out for two screens: closed, your date and your next payment; open, your debts and the plan side by side. The what-if slider and the color-in squares keep the plan going between paydays. The Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheet comes with it for the days you would rather plan on a computer.
As soon as your order is complete you can download the ZIP. Open START-HERE.pdf, tap your private install link or scan the QR code, and add the app to your Home Screen from Safari in about a minute. This is a web app that installs from Safari; it is not an App Store app. The free video walkthrough shows every step, and nothing ships.
Runs in Safari on iPhone Duo (iOS 27.1), tested in Apple's iPhone Duo simulator. Also runs on other iPhone models, iPad, Android phones in Chrome and computer browsers (Chrome, Edge and Safari). It works offline after the first open. The spreadsheet opens in Excel or Google Sheets. No account, no bank login and no subscription.
No. It is a web app that installs from Safari with Add to Home Screen, then opens from your Home Screen like any other app. There is nothing to download from an app store.
No. A big foldable inner screen gets the two-page layout, and any other iPhone, Android phone, iPad or computer gets the same app, sized to its screen. The Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheet is included too.
No. You type your debts and log your payments. There is no account, no bank login and no cloud sync.
Avalanche usually costs less interest; snowball gives quicker wins. The app shows both for your own debts, so you can pick the one you will stick with.
Only on your device, in the web app's storage. We never receive it. Deleting the web app or clearing Safari website data erases your entries, so save a backup file now and then; the same file moves your plan to a new phone.
Yes. The app updates itself when we improve it, and your entries stay on your device.
