Privacy Policy

Covered does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, no bank login, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. NicheToolkits never receives your budget.

What the app keeps, and where

Your pay schedule, bills, savings goals and spending entries are saved on your iPhone, inside Covered. Covered's widgets and Siri actions read that same file on your phone.

If Keep a copy in my iCloud is on (Settings in the app; on by default), a copy is also kept in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud storage, so a new phone gets your budget back. Only your Apple Account can read it; we cannot.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-time unlock are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells us that a sale happened; it doesn't give us your name, email or payment details.

Reminders, Face ID and Siri

Reminders are scheduled on your phone from your plan; nothing is sent from a server. Face ID is handled by iOS, and Covered never sees your face data. Siri requests are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove the budget from your phone. To remove the iCloud copy, turn off Keep a copy in my iCloud before deleting, or remove Covered's data in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.

Children

Covered is a general budgeting tool and is not directed at children under 13.
