Privacy Policy

Counts does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. NicheToolkits never receives your videos, your takes or anything about your practice.

Your routine videos stay on your iPhone

When you import a video from Photos or Files, Counts copies it into the app's own storage on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, and the original stays where it was. The photo picker gives Counts only the video you choose; Counts cannot see the rest of your library.

The camera

Counts uses the front camera only when you turn on Camera inside a routine. It shows you a mirrored live view so you can practice beside the routine. When you tap Record take it records video only; Counts never uses the microphone. Takes are saved inside the app on your iPhone.

Photos and sharing

If you tap Save to Photos, Counts asks for permission to add that take to your photo library. This is add-only access: Counts can't read your photos. A take leaves the app only if you share it yourself with the share sheet.

Settings and purchases

Your settings (speed, counts, sections, voice) are stored on your iPhone. The free trial and the one-time unlock are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells us that a sale happened; it doesn't give us your name, email or payment details.

Backups

Like any app's data, your routines and takes can be included in your iPhone's own backups (iCloud or your computer), depending on your backup settings. That backup is between you and Apple.

Deleting your data

Delete a routine or a take in the app, or delete the app to remove all of its routines and takes from your iPhone.

Children

Counts collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
