Privacy Policy

Cleared does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, no bank login, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. NicheToolkits never receives your debts, payments or plan.

What the app keeps, and where

Your debts (names, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, due days), the payments you log and your plan settings are saved on your iPhone, inside Cleared. Cleared's widgets and Siri actions read that same file on your phone.

If Keep a copy in my iCloud is on (Settings in the app; on by default), a copy is also kept in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud storage, so a new phone gets your plan back. Only your Apple Account can read it; we cannot.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-time unlock are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells us that a sale happened; it doesn't give us your name, email or payment details.

Reminders, Face ID and Siri

Reminders are scheduled on your phone from your plan; nothing is sent from a server. Face ID and Touch ID are handled by iOS, and Cleared never sees your face or fingerprint data. Siri requests are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Backups and exports

Backup files and the payments CSV are created only when you tap them, and go wherever you choose to save or share them.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove your plan from your phone. To remove the iCloud copy, turn off Keep a copy in my iCloud in the app's Settings before deleting the app; Cleared then deletes the copy from your iCloud.

Children

Cleared is a general planning tool and is not directed at children under 13.
